Recording a spend
Most expense apps ask for an amount, then a category, then an account, then a date. Numo reads one sentence and fills all four in, then shows you the draft before anything is saved.
He knows the names of your own accounts and categories, so “from HDFC” and “put it in Groceries” land where you meant. Get it wrong and you just say so (“no, make it 92”) and he edits the same draft rather than starting again.
Nothing is recorded until you approve it. That rule holds everywhere in NetWorth+, and Numo is no exception.
What Numo does
He can reach the parts of the app you'd otherwise go and tap through yourself.
An amount, a merchant, a category, an account and a date, pulled out of one ordinary sentence, typed or spoken.
Balances, net worth, this month against last, spending by category, how your budgets are holding up.
Find a payment you recorded last week and change or delete it. The search runs on your phone, against your own records.
Attach a picture and he pulls the amount, date, merchant and category off it. Prefer nothing to leave the device? Scan receipt stays fully on-device.
Ask him to switch a preference and he does it, with no hunting through menus for the toggle you half-remember.
Bank alerts and forwarded emails land in your Financial Inbox. Numo can tell you what's sitting there unapproved.
How it works
Type or speak it. No form, no required fields, no particular order. “paid 220 for petrol yesterday” is enough.
He fills in what he understood and leaves the rest blank rather than guessing. You can correct any of it by replying in the same conversation.
Only then does anything touch your balances. Close the app mid-draft and nothing was recorded.
Where the line is
Numo is the one part of NetWorth+ that talks to a company other than Google. So it is worth being precise about what that means.
OpenAI does not use any of it to train its models. When Numo needs to find a transaction you already recorded, he describes what to look for and the search runs on your device, and the matching rows are never sent to OpenAI. Read the full detail in the Privacy Policy →
